Samsung R720 design is similar to other typical Android smartphone with full touch screen and candy bar design. It feels compact and rather small on hand measuring 116 x 60 x 12 mm. It also feels slightly light weighing 117 grams, thanks to its plastic chassis. Mostly occupied the front side is a 3.5 inches capacitive touchscreen coming in 320 x 480 pixels resolution. For text input, Samsung R720 only provides virtual on-screen keyboard; alphanumerical keyboard on portrait view and full QWERTY keyboard on landscape view.
