LG Select comes as a basic phone dedicated for those who love to be simple and do not want to be bothered with the complexity of today’s smartphone. It arrives in typical clamshell basic phone design measuring 94 x 47 x 18 mm and weighing 92 grams. Located on the front side (clamshell closed) is external display that appears in 1-inch display with 96 x 64 pixels resolution. The external display manages to show signal strength, profile status, battery life, date and time as well as incoming calls and messages. Above the external display is camera lens while below is speakerphone. Flip open the clamshell to reveal 2 inches internal display that coming in 176 x 220 pixels resolution and 262K colors support. Below the internal display is navigation array and alphanumerical keypad.

Coming as a basic phone, surely LG Select offers only basic features of a phone. Therefore, do not expect much on this kind of phone. Regarding connectivity features, LG Select works on MetroPCS’s CDMA network and supports CDMA 1xRTT data network. To browse internet, there is Myriad web browser supports WAP web pages. Due to its slow data network, internet experience on this phone is likely to be a disappointed one.
